Fishing in Boston Harbor, August 3, 2001
We set out at 5:40 am from the Dorchester Yacht Club.
Cap'n Ron Cavanaugh at the helm.

Patrick started out our day catching the first striper, about 26 inches long, as we fished near the Quarantine rocks off Rainsford Island in Quincy Bay.

Steve White holds up one of our stripers. We caught a total of 13, but only one keeper (over 28 inches).

My sister Laurie did her part, jigging away all morning, although the "lucky 13" was not to be hers.

Laurie helps Pat unhook a striper.
Pat wonders, "Do these things bite?"

Steve with the one fish that was big enough to keep--the fish is on the left!
