Dear Rebecca,

The list of people I've told about your problems, and thus the list of people praying for you continues to grow. I met up with a friend from Church, Kathy, yesterday afternoon on my way home, and gave her a ride back to Brockton. She'll alert other friends from Church, who will be praying for you. This morning I sent an email to 25 friends to ask their prayers, and also sent messages to our friends the Mattina's and to my friend Scott R.

Since Monday night, your brother, sisters and I have been praying the rosary each night, asking our Lady to intercede for you and cover you with her mantle.

Your mom and I are both wondering what will happen in the weeks to come. This morning I rode on the train to work with your uncle Dan who has been looking up information about your problem and we talked about what might happen. Everyone wants to know, and people ask what they can do, but of course, the only thing anyone can do for us and you right now is pray.

The Scriptures talk about our being surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses, and you are already surrounded by such a cloud, gathered in concern and love for you.

Love,

Dad
